Imagine me (for what I could be)

The public art installation Imagine me (for what I could be) accompanied the first month of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Artists from eleven countries—including Ukraine—worked with new interpretations of the aesthetics and motifs of the Czech and European flags, presenting their own visions of these traditional symbols. The resulting twenty-three large-format banners fluttered throughout July above the streets Archimède, Franklin, and Stevin in Brussels, in close proximity to the European Commission headquarters, Berlaymont.

More about the project here.

Red like June and the teeming of life above and below ground. Blue like a river eroding its banks and crossing borders, a deep lake to lose yourself in, a mother's garment, and peace on earth. White is NOTHING, pure potentiality holding all possibilities. White are the bones that remain here a little longer.
