Fresco in the exhibition of Veronika Vlková: Listen Quietly, House of the Lords of Kunštát

The artist Veronika Vlková invited us to create a fresco as part of her exhibition, whose architectural layout and used elements evoked a school classroom. On the blackboard-like wall, we painted a linear form—perhaps a scribble, perhaps something carved into a desk in the dusk.

Listen quietly, you know it. Find your own light and your own shadow, look at the sky and all the flowers around you. Look into the sun—will you let yourself be dazzled? The sun stands in the sky, and as it rises, it is warmer and brighter. You ask, what is it that stands? What rises and falls, and where does it go to sleep? Day star… where does the light come from, and where is it? The sun is very far away and yet quite close. It is here and there, present and hidden. And again you ask, even though you already know where to seek the answer.
