Fresco for Rafael and Markéta

While creating the fresco in the newly renovated ground floor of a family house, we could enjoy the family's uninhibited approach to colors. The apartment already contained a number of striking and colorful accents and playful details before our arrival. The fresco responded to this situation: the goal was to complement the color harmony of the space, to ground and soften the overall atmosphere. The result consists of two objects painted on the front wall of the main living room, creating a sense of layering. The red pillar in the corner disrupts the space by flowing over to the ceiling and the adjacent wall, while the airy haystack partially hides behind an edge originally designed by the stucco masters.
