Cesta domů

Cesta domů is a non-profit organization that, through its mobile hospice services, enables care for terminally ill and dying children and adults in their own homes, while offering support to their families. At the same time, it strives to contribute to social and legislative changes that improve end-of-life care in the country. The organization also publishes books and materials that often challenge myths about dying and provide support for caregivers.

As painters, we wanted to express gratitude and support for all these meaningful activities. We therefore offered a fresco as a gift, and it was a great pleasure to glimpse into a professional environment where a friendly and fresh atmosphere prevails. Our mural is located in the Prague home hospice in a space for close family members. The entire area seeks to offer the most pleasant environment possible, and the fresco shares this intention. We chose warm tones, gently blending into one another. The nearly monochromatic surface is complemented by a few flying details inviting associative play.
