Plasticity of Memory / Festival of Art in Public Space

On the surface of the concrete shell roof of the Summer Stadium stage by architects Karel Řepa and Ferdinand Potůček, the so-called Gate of Champions, a dialogue between the contemporary and the past emerged. With our own fresco painting into wet plaster, we complemented the original, time-worn emblem of a half-horse with a kicking ball and created an imaginative landscape of Pardubice. The updated emblem of FC Pardubice included fragments of the original painting as well as moldy pieces of crumbling plaster.
